Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding GloPatrol franchises. Click here to return to the GloPatrol franchising webpage.
What is a franchise?
A franchise is an agreement between two legally independent parties which gives the franchisee rights to market the franchisor’s products or services. With GloPatrol, you pay an initial franchise fee and modest monthly royalty/promotional fees. In return, you become a GloPatrol franchise owner and may utilize the GloPatrol trademark, business systems, supplier relationships, and marketing materials. You also will be entitled to extensive training and ongoing support to help make your business successful.
Do I need experience in the sunless tanning industry?
No. GloPatrol will provide the specialized training necessary for you to run your business. Topics include franchise operations, marketing best practices, and hands-on airbrush tanning techniques. You bring the desire and work ethic, GloPatrol will help with much of the rest. If you already have industry experience, that’s a bonus.
How much can I earn?
As a franchisor, GloPatrol is prohibited from promising any level of profitability. You need to make your own evaluation. Your success will depend on goals, work ethic, customer satisfaction, and efficiency in operating the business. That being said, the sunless industry is experiencing rapid growth, in part, because of emerging awareness of the harmful consequences of UV tanning. GloPatrol provides cutting-edge equipment, hands-on training, preferred pricing on supplies, national brand recognition, online booking technologies, and marketing support to help maximize your mobile sunless tanning success. Please download the brochure supplement from our franchising webpage for more details.
How many hours will I need to work?
Ultimately, that’s up to you. Whether your goal is full-time or supplementary income, we think you’ll find the simplicity of our franchise program to be accommodating. In addition, we provide tips to help our franchisees work smarter, not harder, to maximize their successes.
Does my franchise come with an exclusive territory?
No. To help protect our franchisees, however, we limit the number to only one GloPatrol per every 100,000 in area populations. We also require franchises to be based in the areas in which they are doing business.
What type of equipment does GloPatrol provide?
GloPatrol has a business relationship with Sunless Inc., the leader in sunless tanning technologies. All GloPatrols feature evolv Sidekick, Sunless Inc.’s heat-infused airbrush tanning product. The evolv Sidekick produces a first-ever, truly one-of-a-kind, heated, airbrush tanning experience. The heated application creates a comfortable airbrush application that clients can barely feel. In addition, we offer several complementary products for add-on sales opportunities.
Does GloPatrol provide training?
Absolutely. Each GloPatrol receives a franchise starter kit and hands-on training. See details by downloading our brochure supplement and typical training itinerary from our franchising webpage. In addition, we provide preferred pricing on supplies, national brand recognition, online booking technologies, and marketing support to help maximize your success.
How much are franchise fees?
We offer a franchise program that costs little more than the equipment and materials you need to get started. Please complete the PDF franchise application (downloadable from our franchising webpage) and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You also may call (920) 333-2456. We’ll be happy to share more information.
What are the steps necessary to get a GloPatrol franchise?
Our goal is to keep the franchise simple. First, complete the PDF franchise application (downloadable from our franchising webpage) and email it to email@example.com. You also may call (920) 333-2456. Next, before engaging in a GloPatrol franchise, you will receive a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and contract for review. Finally, if you decide to buy a franchise with us (and after a legally required waiting period), return the signed agreement with payment and schedule your two-day, hands-on, GloPatrol training.
What is a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)?
Franchising is regulated by the Federal Trade Commission and requires franchisors to provide a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for review prior to signing any formal agreement. The FDD outlines the business opportunity along with responsibilities and obligations between the franchisor and franchisee.
